Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Hollis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollis thows a body shot but no joy.
Hollis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pacquiao doesn't seem bothered though.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hollis - that will leave a mark!
Pacquiao misses with a looping left.
Hollis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hollis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pacquiao on the side of the head.
Pacquiao misses with a hook to the body
and Hollis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hollis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hollis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pacquiao shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pacquiao is rocked!
Pacquiao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hollis moves away.
No joy there for Hollis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pacquiao throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hollis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Hollis! Pacquiao is out on his feet! Hollis rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pacquiao is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pacquiao is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Hollis!
