The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Thunder throws a wild body kick that Mccoy sees coming a mile off.
Mccoy is looking to land body kicks.
Thunder lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mccoy is looking to slow Thunder down with leg kicks.

Mccoy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That was a close second round but I would say that Denton Thunder will probably get the nod.

Thunder has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mccoy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
