Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Phil Phillips was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chael Sonnen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Phillips swivels and escapes.
Sonnen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sonnen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sonnen lands in his opponent's guard.
Phillips is trying to control the position but Sonnen postures up.
Sonnen passes Phillips's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sonnen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Phillips with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sonnen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Phillips knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Sonnen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Phillips really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sonnen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sonnen lands a huge shot from side control! Phillips is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chael Sonnen!
After the fight, Chael Sonnen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
