Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kevin Rudolf - In the City. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Menezes but Menezes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Harris doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Menezes counters with a shoot takedown. Harris fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Menezes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Harris's head.
Menezes trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.
Menezes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Harris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Eric Menezes has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Menezes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Harris has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Menezes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harris fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Menezes to the ground. Harris is now in Menezes's guard.
Harris is fighting to break Menezes's control of his arms but Menezes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Harris postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Menezes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harris, into his guard.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Harris is looking to clinch but Menezes is avoiding it.
Menezes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Harris quickly recovers to half guard.

Menezes is stalling here. Harris is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Menezes seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Harris has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Harris throws a strike aimed at the side of Menezes's head but Menezes avoids it well.

Harris throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Menezes is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris seems to be looking for submissions.
Menezes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Menezes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Harris was covering up waiting for the punch and Menezes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Menezes tries to stand but Harris is controlling from the bottom.
Harris pulls Menezes in close to his closed guard and prevents Menezes from doing any damage or advancing position.
Menezes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Menezes was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Harris fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Menezes counter with a right hand.
Harris tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Menezes counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Harris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Menezes after a bit of a struggle.

Menezes has hold of one of Harris's legs. Harris is fighting the takedown attempt but Menezes gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Menezes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Menezes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Harris works Menezes's body with a nice hook.
Menezes throws a right hand that Harris ducks under and follows up with a left that Harris also avoids with ease.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Menezes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Eric Menezes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Menezes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
