Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Murdoch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Murdoch's choice of entrance music: Know your Enemy/ Rage Against the Machine. Mickey Murdoch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jameson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Murdoch lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Jameson feints and then cracks Murdoch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Murdoch down.
Jameson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jameson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Murdoch for as long as he can get away with.
Murdoch is looking to stand up but Jameson isn't so interested in that idea.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jameson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
