PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintonn Jacksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacksson comes into the arena with Rampage entrance song blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jon Snow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quintonn Jacksson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacksson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jacksson avoids the elbow strike from Snow, against the cage.
Snow is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Jacksson tries for a takedown but Snow manages to get underhooks.
Jacksson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Snow is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jacksson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Snow pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quintonn Jacksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snow ducks under a wild hook from Jacksson.

Jacksson closes the distance and pushes Snow back into the cage.
Snow will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jacksson up against the cage.
Jacksson dodges an elbow strike from Snow.
Jacksson is looking for a takedown.
Snow lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jacksson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jacksson goes for a takedown attempt but Snow pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Jacksson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Snow has managed to clinch.
Snow connects with a knee to the head.


It looks like Quintonn Jacksson has been cut.
Jacksson is breathing heavily.
Jacksson takes an elbow to the temple.
Snow scores with a knee to the head.

Snow drops Jacksson with a big knee straight up the middle! Jacksson is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Jacksson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Snow gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Snow has Jacksson pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Jacksson is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Snow - that's hurt Jacksson badly! Oh, another knee lands and Jacksson is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Jacksson doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jon Snow!
