Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pe Nish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shahbaz Najeeb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Najeeb cracks Nish with an open hand slap.

It looks like Pe Nish has been cut.

Nish scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Nish throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Najeeb wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Nish really is a fat lump.
Nish tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Najeeb tries to improve position but can't.
Nish creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Najeeb sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ground and pound from Nish seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Najeeb wants to get back to his feet but Nish drags him back down.
Nish throws a strike aimed at the side of Najeeb's head but Najeeb avoids it well.
Nish tries to score with some ground and pound. Najeeb controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Nish is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Najeeb knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nish tries for a kimura but Najeeb is defending well.

Nish postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Nish wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Najeeb, who protects the arm well.
Najeeb tries to escape but Nish is in control.
Najeeb wants to control but Nish postures up.
Nish throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Nish advances to mount.
Nish unloads with some shots from mount but Najeeb bucks and avoids them well.
Najeeb wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Nish.

Najeeb defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nish.
Najeeb really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nish. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nish swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Najeeb is now in Nish's guard. A big mistake from Nish there, giving up the dominant position!
Nish on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nish tries to get out of the position.
Nish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Najeeb manages to get himself to full guard.
Nish might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Najeeb avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Nish's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Nish has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nish working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Najeeb looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Najeeb looks winded!
Nish postures up in Najeeb's guard and throws a big left but Najeeb blocks it.
Najeeb is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nish is controlling him.
Nish controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nish has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nish drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nish jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Nish is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Nish postures up in Najeeb's guard and throws a big left but Najeeb blocks it.
Nish slips nicely into half guard.
Nish moves into full mount! Najeeb won't be happy about that!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nish controlling the pace for now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nish keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Nish shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Najeeb is in trouble now - Nish has advanced to mount!
Najeeb avoids a series of strikes thrown by Nish.

Nish wants to finish this one by submission but Najeeb is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nish.

Nish is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Najeeb to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Najeeb shrugs it off.
Nish looking to ground and pound but Najeeb is blocking nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nish pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Nish has isolated one of Najeeb's arms. Najeeb looking to fight him off but Nish twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
