PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Woleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aze Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hate me or Get DIE tryn' - 50cent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toro lands a lovely overhand right.

Toro throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Toro thows a body shot but no joy.

Woleman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Toro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Toro moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Woleman has worked his arm free - good work by Woleman!

Toro jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Woleman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Woleman and Toro has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Woleman will probably get the nod.

Toro postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Woleman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Toro, into his guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Toro connects with a body shot that sends Woleman's belly button to the back.
Woleman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Toro.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Woleman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Woleman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
