The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Go's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Go duly obliges.

It looks like Mike Smith has been cut.
A combination from Go does no damage.
Go scores with a shot to the body.
Smith shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Go misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Go falls off balance throwing a combination

and Smith counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Smith.
Go wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.
Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Go gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Go is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.
Go trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.

Go stands and steps away. Smith gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Go misses with a straight right.

Go drops Smith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smith looks back up at him and smiles so Go waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Smith is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Go pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Go finish him?

Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
Smith gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Go gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Smith is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
