PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamir Inumerable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morpheus Vulcan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Inumerable kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wishmaster-nightwish. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vulcan shoots for a double leg takedown but Inumerable sprawls well. He's pushed Vulcan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Inumerable drives through and clinches with Vulcan against the cage.

Inumerable is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vulcan is defending well for now.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Vulcan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Inumerable is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vulcan.

Vulcan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Inumerable looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Inumerable looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Inumerable!

A close round but Morpheus Vulcan will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Vulcan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vulcan lands in his opponent's guard.

Vulcan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vulcan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jamir Inumerable.
I think Vulcan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
