Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Devon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shigeo Miyato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James cracks Miyato with a right hand to the side of the head.
James swings for the body but Miyato moves out of range.

James has taken the fight to the clinch.
James prevents the takedown attempt.

James successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miyato wants to pass the guard but James is keeping the position.
James wants to stand up but Miyato is controlling him.
James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

James is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miyato defends well.

Miyato drops back looking for a leg! James is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and James manages to kick Miyato off! Miyato jumps back into James's guard.

Miyato looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! James has picked Miyato up and slammed him! Miyato can't keep hold of the triangle and James manages to pass to side control!
