Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian King will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Yamamoto was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard.
King won't allow Yamamoto to sweep him here.

King gets to his feet. Yamamoto looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

King shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Yamamoto tries to roll over but King keeps him under control.

King decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King leaves Yamamoto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Yamamoto gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Yamamoto tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but King is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Yamamoto buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Yamamoto!! Yamamoto is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. King throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
