Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Smoke the Fire. Destroyer has chosen Eminem - Kill You as his entrance music. The key to victory for Johnny Smith has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Destroyer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Destroyer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Destroyer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Destroyer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Smith has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Destroyer has managed to get both his arms back between Smith's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Smith wants to get up but he can't break Destroyer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Destroyer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Destroyer on the ground.
Destroyer has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.
