The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartin sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Gracie to the ground! Hartin dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like George Gracie has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hartin stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fight moves into the clinch position. Tristan Hartin dominated that round. The cut man is working on George Gracie's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt. Hartin clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Hartin tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance. Hartin clinches up against the cage. Hartin breaks the clinch.
Gracie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Gracie moves forwards but Hartin connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Hartin tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie shoots in but no luck this time. Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hartin's waist but Hartin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Hartin finds it's way through Gracie's defenses. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Hartin! This one is all over!
