Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ruthless kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Diego Martinez has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Martinez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Martinez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Terry Brawler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martinez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brawler circles away.

Martinez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Martinez seems to have got his legs back now.

That was a close round but I would say that Diego Martinez will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Martinez seems to be looking for submissions.

Brawler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Martinez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brawler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brawler should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Martinez has hold of Brawler's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Brawler seems comfortable defending it but Martinez has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Brawler is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Brawler is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Martinez couldn't care less - he's delighted!
