Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Svensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sven Svensen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Svensen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Svensen.
Lesnar moves in looking to clinch but Svensen pushes him off.
Svensen closes the distance and clinches up with Lesnar, looking for a takedown. Svensen pushes Lesnar against the cage but Lesnar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Svensen paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Svensen has closed the distance and engaged Lesnar in a clinch.

Lesnar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Svensen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lesnar did well to prevent Svensen getting side control.

A frustrated look appears on Lesnar's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Svensen stands up over Lesnar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lesnar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lesnar tries to get out of the position.

Svensen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sven Svensen wasn't active enough on the ground.
Sloppy strikes from Lesnar. Those never looked like landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Svensen. Lesnar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Svensen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Svensen slips a jab and a cross from Lesnar.
Svensen swats away the attempt to clinch by Lesnar.
Lesnar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Svensen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Svensen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesnar tries to avoid it but Svensen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesnar to the ground. Lesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sven Svensen dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Lesnar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Svensen, right into the meat.

Lesnar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Svensen.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Svensen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sven Svensen seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Lesnar avoiding damage as Svensen throws knees to the body.
Lesnar tries to break free but Svensen pushes him back against the cage.
Lesnar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Svensen's elbow.
Lesnar stops a takedown attempt from Svensen.

Svensen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Svensen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sven Svensen has got the better of the ground game so far.

Svensen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lesnar is staying active underneath Svensen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lesnar pushes Svensen off looking to stand but Svensen dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Svensen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lesnar wants to control but Svensen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Svensen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lesnar knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lesnar wants to improve his position but Svensen is controlling well.

Svensen uses his free foot to push down on Lesnar's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lesnar.
Svensen can't control as he wanted to and Lesnar manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Svensen wants to pass the guard but Lesnar is defending well.

Svensen is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lesnar is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sven Svensen!
A relieved looking Sven Svensen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
