Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Haggen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk checks the leg kick nicely there.
Kirk jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kirk.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kirk lands some shots froms side control.
Kirk working the ground and pound but Haggen is defending the strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kirk tries to score with some ground and pound. Haggen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Kirk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haggen keeps working.
Kirk tries to move to mount but Haggen blocks the move with his legs.
Kirk misses with the ground and pound.
Haggen throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Haggen is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Haggen is trying to get back to his feet.
Kirk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haggen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kirk is looking to take a break and control but Haggen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Haggen is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kirk throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Haggen's body to avoid the submission. Haggen has instead reached around Kirk's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Haggen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
