The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jakort fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hiri, pushing him back against the cage.
Jakort tries to pull guard but Hiri won't allow it.
Jakort tries to throw a body punch but Hiri avoids it by throwing Jakort back against the cage.
Hiri scores with a shot to the side of Jakort's head.
Jakort looking to slow down the pace here.
Jakort fails to pull guard.
Jakort looking to stall.
Hiri lands a body shot.
Jakort tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hiri avoids it.
Hiri is pressed up against the cage. Jakort has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hiri down to the mat. Hiri avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Jakort. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut lands for Hiri. That snapped Jakort's head back.
Jakort shoots in looking for a takedown but Hiri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jakort's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hiri looks to score with a jab to the body but Jakort is just out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hiri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hiri ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Jakort takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jakort shoots in for a takedown but Hiri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jakort is breathing heavily.

Hiri thows a body shot but no joy.
Jakort takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hiri scores with a nice head shot.
Hiri digs a good body shot into Jakort's ribs.
Hiri ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hiri throws a shot to the body.
Jakort takes one on the button.

It looks like Ralph Jakort has been cut.

Hiri drops Jakort with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jakort looks back up at him and smiles so Hiri waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jakort is rocked!
Hiri throws an uppercut from hell that sends Jakort clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hiri stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
