The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Holmes throws a leg kick that misses.
Orochi misses with an uppercut. Holmes saw that one coming.

Mike Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orochi misses with a hook.
Orochi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Orochi throws a front kick aimed at Holmes's knee but Holmes avoids it well.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Holmes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Orochi tries to clinch but Holmes is having none of it.

Orochi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Orochi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Holmess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Good leg kick by Holmes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Holmes lands a slapping body shot.
Orochi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Holmes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Orochi. That did some damage!

Holmes lands a big uppercut and Orochi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Orochi looks OK. Holmes waves Orochi back to his feet!

Holmes throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Orochi crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
