The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vi$$er uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lagoo.
Lagoo connects with a crisp jab.
Vi$$er fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lagoo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lagoo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Vi$$er.

Lagoo shoots for a double leg takedown but Vi$$er sprawls well. He's pushed Lagoo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sasha Lagoo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lagoo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vi$$er gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Yo-Landi Vi$$er is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Vi$$er seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lagoo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vi$$er defends well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vi$$er got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lagoo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vi$$er has managed to get both his arms back between Lagoo's legs - danger averted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
