The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones swats away the attempt to clinch by Wayne.
Wayne blocks a low kick nicely.
Bones shoots in and drives through. Wayne sprawls well.
Bones keeps the fight on the outside.

Wayne rushes Bones and presses him up against the cage.
Bones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wayne gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Wayne breaks from the clinch.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bones but Bones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wayne misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bones shoots in for a double leg but Wayne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silva Bones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bones misses with a few strikes there.

Bones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wayne moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wayne to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Wayne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bones has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wayne doesn't defend quickly enough and Bones has managed to lock this one up! Can Wayne escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bones on a fantastic submission victory.
