Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trygve Bondevik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Nikiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikiel has chosen Krystian Pudzianowski - Slowianski wiatr as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bondevik with a poor takedown
and Nikiel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nikiel doesn't manage to clinch there - Bondevik circles away.

Bondevik moves into range and clinches up with Nikiel.
Nikiel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bondevik's elbow.

Nikiel has Bondevik pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nikiel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bondevik tumbling to the mat - Nikiel dives into Bondevik's guard.
Nikiel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nikiel throwing strikes from guard but Bondevik blocks nicely.

Nikiel stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Bondevik has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Nikiel manages to get his head free but now Bondevik has transitioned to an armbar! Nikiel grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Bondevik! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
