Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nephew Tony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Granat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Nephew Tony has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Granat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Granat lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Granat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nephew Tony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Granat.
Granat shoots in and drives through. Tony sprawls well.
Granat lands with a kick to the temple. Tony shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Horrible takedown by Granat or perhaps it was just good defense by Tony which made him look bad.

Tony stuffs the takedown.
Granat is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tony sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Granat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tony sprawls well. Tony wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Granat gets slowly back to his feet.
Granat's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Granat duly obliges.
Tony swats away the attempt to clinch by Granat.

Granat tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Tony manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Danga de danga de dang - Granat scores with a four punch combination!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Granat is defended easily by Tony.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Granat.
Stefan Granat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Granat wants to clinch.

Tony avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tony avoids a punch combination nicely.
Granat closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Granat wants to clinch up but Tony keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Tony. No joy for Granat on that attempt.
Granat fails with a takedown attempt.
Granat misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Granat scores with a head kick. Tony tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Granat tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tony sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Granat somewhat.
Tony keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Granat dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Granat throws a series of punches but Tony moves out of range.
Granat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tony tries to avoid it but Granat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tony to the ground. Tony escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tony stuffs the takedown attempt from Granat. Granat gets slowly back to his feet.
Stefan Granat seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Granat lands a glancing blow to the side of Tony's head.
Granat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tony avoids it really well and circles away.
Nephew Tony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stefan Granat.
Granat throws a right hand that Tony ducks under and follows up with a left that Tony also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Granat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Granat throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Granat dives in and grabs Tony's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tony pushes down on Granat's head and hops out.
Granat digs a good hook to Tony's body.
Granat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tony's waist but Tony gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Granat off to one side.
Granat pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tony back to the cage. Granat follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and Tony counters with a nice right hand that sends Granat toppling to the canvas! Granat scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tony finish him?!
It looks like Stefan Granat has been cut.
Granat is breathing heavily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Granat scores with a jab.
Granat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tony's waist but Tony gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Granat off to one side.

Granat doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tony counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Granat to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Tony!
