The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landa throws a shot from downtown. Garcia moves away and avoids it.
Garcia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Landa.

That was a close round but I would say that Hans Landa will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Some bone on bone action there as Landa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Landa moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Horrible takedown by Garcia or perhaps it was just good defense by Landa which made him look bad.
Hans Landa is winning the standup battle so far.
Garcia dives in and grabs Landa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Landa pushes down on Garcia's head and hops out.
Landa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Landa fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Garcia on the side of the head.
