Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kawan Filjandro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Rexum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filjandro comes to the cage accompanied by HOMEGROWN. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filjandro throws a sloppy body shot
and Rexum counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rexum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Filjandro.
A head kick from Rexum lands but Filjandro takes it in his stride.
Kawan Filjandro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filjandro throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rexum on the side of the head.
Rexum with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Filjandro to score with a decent uppercut.

Filjandro drops back looking for a leg! Rexum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rexum manages to kick Filjandro off! Filjandro jumps back into Rexum's guard.
Filjandro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Filjandro postures up in Rexum's guard and throws a big left but Rexum blocks it.

Rexum is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Filjandro defends well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rexum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Filjandro is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rexum has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Filjandro is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Rexum is defending well though. Filjandro let's go of the attempt for now.
