Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Moneybags!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gordie Green!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green fails to land with a series of punches.
Moneybags tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Green paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Moneybags dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Green misses with a two punch combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Green.

Moneybags instigates a clinch.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Moneybags goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Green is looking to break free of the clinch but Moneybags has double underhooks.
Moneybags gets underhooks to prevent Green's takedown attempt.

Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Green moves out of range as Moneybags strikes.
A lazy left from Moneybags finds it's target.

John Moneybags is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Moneybags looks to land a combination but Green avoids it well.
Green avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Green throws out a loose jab but Moneybags uses good head movement to avoid it.

Moneybags wants to break the clinch but can't.

John Moneybags has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gordie Green.

Green is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Green tries to break the clinch but Moneybags is controlling the position.
Moneybags throws a punch but it's blocked by Green.
Green tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Green dodges an elbow strike from Moneybags.

Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moneybags thows a leg kick but Green checks it
and Green counters with a body kick.
Moneybags is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A swing and a miss from Moneybags.
Green walks into a left hand.
Moneybags just misses with a punch to the body.

Green closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Moneybags's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Moneybags is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moneybags lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Green!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moneybags is looking to take a break and control but Green is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that John Moneybags will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Moneybags throws a nice looking combination but Green bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Green lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moneybags circles away quickly and effectively.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Green gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Moneybags connects with a body shot.

Green takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that John Moneybags will probably get the nod.
