PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Beaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Coholic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beaver comes into the arena with mind of a maniac blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coholic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Beaver's calf.
Coholic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Beaver paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Beaver takes one to the side of the head.
Coholic lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Beaver takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Beaver moves out of range of the body kick from Coholic.
Coholic throws a push kick but Beaver slaps the foot to one side.

so Beaver counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Coholic wants to stand up but Beaver is controlling him.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Coholic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Coholic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beaver gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Coholic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beaver defends it easily.

Beaver lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Beaver looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Coholic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
