The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Black. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Black to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Frank Black has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Black keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.

Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Black looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Black looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Black!
Gracie is looking to reverse the position.

Black is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gracie tries to buck Black off but Black is having none of it.

Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Black goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gracie turns into him and now he's in Black's guard.

Black has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gracie doesn't defend quickly enough and Black has managed to lock this one up! Can Gracie escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Black on a fantastic submission victory.
