The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Light goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Pereira shoots in looking for a takedown. Light tries to sprawl out of it but Pereira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Light manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A lazy left from Light finds it's target.
Pereira misses with a head kick.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Light in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

I would just about give that final round to Speedy Light.
Well Light has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
