Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Auron Almasy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Fatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almasy comes to the cage accompanied by Ram Jam - Black Betty. Fatts has chosen Hit Em Up by Tupac as his entrance music. The key to victory for Auron Almasy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almasy throws a leg kick but Fatts sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Almasy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Almasy. Fatts does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice straight punches there by Almasy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Almasy.
Almasy swings widly with a right hand
and Fatts counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fatts fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Almasy manages to avoid it.

Fatts looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Fatts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Almasy tries to avoid it but Fatts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Almasy to the ground. Almasy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Almasy throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fatts on the side of the head.

Oooooh!!! Almasy has knocked Fatts down with a huge combo! Almasy steps away and waves a wobbly Fatts back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fatts gets the takedown into side control.
Fatts is still in real trouble! Can Almasy finish him?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Almasy wants to stand up but Fatts manages to regain full guard.

Almasy throws a big elbow that misses.
Fatts keeping moving, preventing Almasy from controlling successfully.
Almasy distracts Fatts with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Fatts looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Fatts manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fatts trying to control but Almasy is having none of it.
Fatts throwing strikes but Almasy uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Fatts with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Almasy is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fatts is looking for a kimura here.
Fatts stops Almasy from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Almasy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Auron Almasy dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Almasy throws a leg kick that misses.

Fatts fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Almasy on the side of the head.
Almasy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Auron Almasy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Almasy lands a left and a right that send Fatts crashing to the mat, dazed. Almasy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jay Fatts has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crack! Almasy connects with the perfect overhand right and Fatts falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Almasy!
