Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axe Handle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Handle has chosen Monster-Skillet as his entrance music. Owen Wash has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wash fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wash moves in looking to clinch but Handle pushes him off.
Wash tries to clinch but Handle moves out of range.

Handle has closed the distance and engaged Wash in a clinch.
Wash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Handle manages to pull guard.
Wash would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Handle looking for a sweep. Not yet Handle, not yet.
Wash wanted to stand there but Handle had control of the position.

Handle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wash can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Handle looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Wash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Handle lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wash!
Handle lands a heavy elbow.

Handle lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wash hang on?
Handle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Handle is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wash to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wash shrugs it off.
Handle throwing strikes but Wash uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Wash pushes Handle off looking to stand but Handle dives back in and keeps control.

Handle wants to work for an arm triangle but Wash is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Handle in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Wash tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Handle!
