Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silva Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volkrav Kusmetov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Da Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Ken Song. Silva Da Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Volkrav Kusmetov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silva Da Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Volkrav Kusmetov!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kusmetov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Da Silva on his heels. He'll look to pass Da Silva's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Da Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kusmetov's guard.
Kusmetov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Da Silva is controlling him.

Da Silva wants to pass the guard but Kusmetov is keeping the position.

Da Silva feints a jab promting Kusmetov to slip. Da Silva then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kusmetov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kusmetov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kusmetov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're going to have a standup here because Silva Da Silva wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kusmetov shoots for a double leg takedown but Da Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Kusmetov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Da Silva shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kusmetov eats them both and turns towards Da Silva to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Da Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kusmetov wants to get back to his feet.

Da Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kusmetov defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kusmetov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Da Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kusmetov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
