Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jealous Jarvae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hashimoto comes to the cage accompanied by Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). Keiji Hashimoto had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 14 - 3, fighting out of New York, Keiji Hashimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jealous Jarvae!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvae bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hashimoto. Jarvae does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jarvae feints and then cracks Hashimoto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hashimoto down.
Jarvae throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jarvae avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jarvae doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jarvae tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hashimoto smiles and moves away.

Some bone on bone action there as Hashimoto checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hashimoto digs a good hook to Jarvae's body.

Hashimoto shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hashimoto is trying to control the action in half guard but Jarvae is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jarvae is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hashimoto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hashimoto's back!

Jarvae has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hashimoto has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

I really don't envy Hashimoto right now.

Jarvae is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Jarvae cracks Hashimoto with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Hashimoto from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Hashimoto rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jarvae thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hashimoto's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jarvae is looking to work some ground and pound but Hashimoto has wrist control.
Hashimoto pulls Jarvae in close to prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hashimoto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keiji Hashimoto will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

That kick from Hashimoto tenderised Jarvae's leg. Jarvae is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jarvae closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hashimoto is not content to let Jarvae control the position.
Jarvae slips a nice elbow through Hashimoto's hands, connecting with Hashimoto's forehead.
Jealous Jarvae has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hashimoto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jarvae's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jarvae's back!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hashimoto has managed to slip his arm under Jarvae's chin. This could be all over... yep, Jarvae is tapping out! Submission win for Hashimoto.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Keiji Hashimoto!
A very excited looking Keiji Hashimoto made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
