Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St pierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hammer Bammer!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bammer misses with a two punch combination.
Bammer moves in looking to clinch but St pierre pushes him off.
St pierre really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bammer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by St pierre.
Bammer fakes a jab and throws a low kick but St pierre checks it well.
Bammer misses with a lunging right hand
and St pierre counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
St pierre fails to land the takedown.

St pierre scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Bammer is looking for a sweep. St pierre is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

St pierre is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bammer is looking to control St pierre's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bammer avoid being mounted?

St pierre is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bammer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time St pierre.

St pierre is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bammer sees it coming and defends easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bammer is on top in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bammer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

St pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bammer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

St pierre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bammer defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that George St pierre will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bammer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and St pierre is able to avoid easily.

St pierre throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Bammer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting St pierre here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Bammer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

St pierre jumps guard but Bammer stands there with St pierre around his waist. St pierre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

St pierre has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bammer after a bit of a struggle.
Bammer swings wildly with an uppercut but St pierre uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bammer landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bammer gets through St pierre's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Hammer Bammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Bammer lands a left and a right that send St pierre crashing to the mat, dazed. Bammer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh St pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
