Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominickoy Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tragon Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palhares comes into the arena with "Rumour Has It/Someone Like You" blaring out of the sound system. Dux has chosen Countdown to Extinction as his entrance music. Tragon Dux will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Tragon Dux!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux stuffs the takedown.
Palhares fails with a takedown attempt.
Palhares ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dux moves away.
Dux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Palhares shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Palhares connects with a nice short shot to Dux's temple.

Palhares is trying for a kimura here. Dux looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Palhares wins by kimura!

In his post fight interview, Dominickoy Palhares started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
