Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrzej Wilk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Kolpakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilk comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy- Run With The Wolfs. Kolpakov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alisa - Aerobica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrzej Wilk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Kolpakov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilk misses with a body shot.
Wilk slips a straight right by Kolpakov.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wilk displaying some good clinch control by pressing Kolpakov up against the cage.
Wilk keeps control of Kolpakov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kolpakov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kolpakov lands a jab to the nose.
Wilk lands with an overhand left.
A swing and a miss from Kolpakov.
A punch lands to the side of Wilk 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kolpakov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Wilk moves in looking to clinch but Kolpakov pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kolpakov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wilk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kolpakov throws a push kick but Wilk slaps the foot to one side.

Kolpakov on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Wilk manages to break the clinch.
Kolpakov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wilk connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kolpakov misses with a head kick.
Wilk misses with a straight left.
Kolpakov throws a lazy right hand but Wilk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kolpakov lands a nice hook to Wilk's body. Wilk takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wilk moves into range and clinches up with Kolpakov.
Wilk is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kolpakov is defending well for now.
Kolpakov is trying to break the clinch but Wilk has him pressed against the cage.

Kolpakov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Kolpakov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wilk drops his hands momentarily and Kolpakov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wilk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kolpakov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wilk throws a lazy right hand but Kolpakov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wilk scores with a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nikolai Kolpakov will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kolpakov, as that shot connected.
Kolpakov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Andrzej Wilk will probably get the nod.

Kolpakov is rocked!
Kolpakov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kolpakov looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilk is just out of range.
Kolpakov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wilk on the side of the head.
Kolpakov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kolpakov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kolpakov is still on wobbly legs! Can Wilk finish him?
Kolpakov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Wilk has time to react.
Wilk blocks the body kick.
Wilk plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Kolpakov to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Kolpakov just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andrzej Wilk!
An out of breath Andrzej Wilk thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
