Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Reem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gennaro Trivieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Reem might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fabolous - My Time ft. Jeremih. Trivieri is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Deep Purple - Child in Time . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trivieri throws a body punch but Reem moves out of range.

Reem fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Melvin Reem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reem swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Trivieri.

Reem throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Reem fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Trivieri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Trivieri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reem moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Trivieri, as that shot connected.
Reem throws the left hand but Trivieri avoids the punch easily.
Reem throws a hook to the side of Trivieri's head but Trivieri sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Trivieri chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Reem can pounce on him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Trivieri crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Reem - the referee stops the clock and Trivieri gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Reem. Trivieri manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Trivieri's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Trivieri on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Trivieri might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Reem feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Trivieri sprawling to the canvas! Trivieri rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Reem finish him?!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Reem throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Trivieri is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
