The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Lannister. Beautiful body shot.
Lannister throws a hook to the side of Teixeira's head but Teixeira sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lannister loads up on a big right hand but Teixeira slips the punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Teixeira misses the target.
Teixeira stuns Lannister with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Teixeira fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lannister looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Teixeira.
Teixeira lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Teixeira throws a big shot that misses.
Teixeira cracks Lannister with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lannister looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Teixeira finish him?
Lannister is rocked!
Teixeira circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Lannister tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Teixeira wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Glover Teixeira!
Glover Teixeira took some time post fight to say the following; 'well now that i have knocked this clown out im first gonna go over to his house and slap his wife on hes ass then i wanna take on that punk Mauricio "wannabe shogun" Silva ima knock his head off to, im going to knock that Bi*** into retirement, i hope he has the balls to accept my challenge and ma'.
