Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kanki Onki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Barboza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kanki Onki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Barboza!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barboza swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jose Barboza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Onki tries to clinch there but Barboza circles away.
Barboza is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Onki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barboza as he avoids it easily.
Barboza takes a swing at Onki's ribcage but misses.
Barboza lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Barboza throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Barboza throws the kick towards the body but Onki avoids it.
Onki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barboza wants to get back to his feet.
Onki is staying tight to Barboza's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Barboza tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Barboza squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Onki trying to control but Barboza is having none of it.
Onki sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Barboza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Onki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Barboza defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Onki.
Onki looking to control and managing it successfully.
Barboza wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barboza can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Onki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Onki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Onki lands a big elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Onki looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Onki tries to control but Barboza wriggling away.
Onki has hold of Barboza's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barboza manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
You get the feeling that Barboza really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Onki trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Onki won't let Barboza get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Onki trying to control but Barboza is having none of it.

Barboza is squirming around, avoiding Onki's attempts to control the action.
Onki looking to isolate an arm here. Barboza doesn't see it coming and as Onki extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Onki!
