The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knitter blocks a head kick by Sieler.
Sieler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Knitter throws out the jab.
Sieler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knitter moves away.
A shot to the liver by Knitter. Beautiful body shot.
Sieler takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sieler checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Knitter misses the shot to the body.
Sieler takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Knitter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sieler.

Knitter has Sieler up against the cage in a clinch.
Sieler blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Sieler is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Knitter is defending well for now.
Sieler tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Knitter just stands there and leans against the cage.
Knitter misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sieler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Knitter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sieler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knitter.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knitter scores with a sloppy right hand. Sieler should have avoided that one.

Sieler throws a jab but it's blocked by Knitter.

Sieler throws a shot from downtown. Knitter moves away and avoids it.

Lutz Knitter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sieler shoots in but no luck this time.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sieler.
Knitter lands a glancing blow to the side of Sieler's head.

Knitter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Sieler gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Knitter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sieler.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sieler. That's going to slow Knitter down.

Knitter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Knitter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Knitter connects with a looping right hand.

Sieler throws a front kick aimed at Knitter's knee but Knitter avoids it well.
Sieler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Horrible takedown by Sieler or perhaps it was just good defense by Knitter which made him look bad.

Knitter takes a swing at Sieler's ribcage but misses.

Lutz Knitter seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sieler takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Sieler looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Sieler pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Sieler tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Oh Sieler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sieler looks up at the clock. Bad move! Knitter lands a right hand from hell, dropping Sieler. Knitter pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
