Ribeiro comes to the cage accompanied by MICHEL TELÓ - BARÁ BERÊ. Sasuke Uchiha struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Uchiha counters with a head kick that drops Ribeiro - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Uchiha is looking to take a break and control but Ribeiro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ribeiro might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ribeiro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Uchiha's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Uchiha's back!

Ribeiro has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Uchiha has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Uchiha is trying to defend against the choke here but Ribeiro has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Ribeiro Tightens the hold and Uchiha taps out furiously! Ribeiro displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
