Jackson has chosen Gonna Fly Now-Bill Conti as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Peter Jackson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michael Millar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands with a slapping head kick.
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jackson scores with a hook to the body. Millar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Millar rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jackson tries to circle away but Millar has him pinned against the cage.
Jackson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Jackson is trying to push Millar away but Millar has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jackson tries to break the clinch but Millar is controlling the position.

Millar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jackson uses from the top position.
Millar pulls Jackson in close to prevent any damage.

Millar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson postures up.

Millar uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Millar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away.
Millar looks to land a body kick but Jackson moved away.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Millar on that attempt.
Millar is breathing heavily.
Millar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson connects with a leg kick. Millar looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Millar gets a clinch.
Millar keeps control of Jackson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Millar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Millar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Millar throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range.
Millar looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well.
Jackson tries to bum rush Millar with a series of wild strikes but Millar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Millar avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice body punch from Jackson.
Jackson throws a head kick that Millar semi-blocks.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Millar circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jackson duly obliges.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Millar moves out of range easily.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Peter Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Millar backs up against the cage.


Millar is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Jackson throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Millar's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Jackson lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Peter Jackson!
Peter Jackson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
