Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between K Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarmo Pajumaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pajumaki's choice of entrance music: Rage Against the Machine - Bombtrack. K Raiden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pajumaki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raiden as he avoids it easily.

Pajumaki is looking for a triangle but Raiden pushes his legs off easily.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Oh Raiden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Raiden has a hand on Pajumaki's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Pajumaki takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Raiden sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Raiden manages to get to full guard.
Pajumaki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Raiden has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pajumaki off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Pajumaki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raiden is fending him off so far but Pajumaki persists. Nope, Raiden circles away and we're back to standing.

Raiden feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pajumaki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raiden looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
