PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Saturn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Dangle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saturn comes into the arena with Breaking Benjamin - Until the end blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saturn moves in looking to clinch but Dangle pushes him off.
Saturn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Dangle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Saturn's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dangle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saturn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

I looks like Dangle might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Dangle works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Dangle is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Saturn has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dangle looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Dangle stops Saturn from getting back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jim Dangle just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dangle wants to clinch.
Saturn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Dangle throws a nice looking combination but Saturn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Saturn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dangle misses with a body kick.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dangle is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Saturn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Saturn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dangle on the ground.

Saturn is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Dangle has taken his back.

Dangle is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Saturn has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dangle has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Saturn taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dangle doesn't care though - he's delighted!
