Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jane Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tobias Franklin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doe feints and as Franklin raises his hands in defense, Doe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Franklin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doe gets to his feet - Franklin follows without any prompting.
Franklin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Doe but Doe pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Doe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Doe's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Doe cracks Franklin with a nice body shot.

Doe has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Franklin uses from the top position.
Franklin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Franklin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Doe is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Franklin yanks on the arm and Doe is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Franklin.
