Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iivari Ilkimys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Boden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boden throws a hook but Ilkimys blocks it.
Boden misses with a hook.
Ilkimys fails with a takedown attempt.
Boden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ilkimys blocks a jab.
Boden lands with a cross.
Ilkimys looks to throw the jab but Boden is out of range.
Ilkimys swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ilkimys missing with a left hand there. Boden was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boden stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ilkimys shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boden napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Ilkimys fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Ilkimys has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ilkimys misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Boden is not content to let Ilkimys control the position.
Ilkimys works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Ilkimys is looking to take a break and control but Boden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ilkimys in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boden tries to buck Ilkimys off but Ilkimys is having none of it.
Boden parries the strikes from Ilkimys easily there. Ilkimys is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Boden to escape.
Ilkimys throws an elbow but Boden slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ilkimys controls the position.
Ilkimys working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Ilkimys lands a nice forearm strike.
Boden is not content to let Ilkimys control the position.

Ilkimys in side control lands a decent elbow.
Boden takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Boden is rocked!
Ilkimys lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Boden down.
Boden is still in real trouble! Can Ilkimys finish him?
Ilkimys lands a big left to the face of Boden, bouncing his head like a basketball. Another shot from Ilkimys and another - Boden is out! Ilkimys stands up and salutes his fans, who are going crazy in the stands.
