Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tarquin Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortune comes into the arena with Going the Distance - Bill Conti blaring out of the sound system. Karl King is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with the combination.
A good leg kick by King.
King slips a jab and a cross from Fortune.

King gets a clinch.
King misses with a body punch.

Fortune pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A lazy body kick from King

and Fortune decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in King's guard.
King keeping full guard, as Fortune tries to pass.
Fortune is stalling in the full guard.
Fortune might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fortune is controlling him.

King wants to sweep here but Fortune controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tarquin Fortune just wasn't active enough.
King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Karl King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fortune avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

King takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
