The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nkemakolam throws a solid leg kick but Rei takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nkemakolam.
Nkemakolam throws a jab but it's blocked by Rei.
Rei connects with a solid leg kick.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rei lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nkemakolam has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nkemakolam and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rei throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nkemakolam sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Rei tries to throw a body punch but Nkemakolam avoids it by throwing Rei back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rei is pressed up against the cage. Nkemakolam has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rei down to the mat. Rei avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Rei throws a big shot that misses.
Nkemakolam throws a jab but it's blocked by Rei.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rei.
Nkemakolam just misses with a punch to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rei tries to throw a body punch but Nkemakolam avoids it by throwing Rei back against the cage.
Rei misses with a hook from the clinch.

Nkemakolam tries to stall but Rei uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Rei misses with a hook to the ribs.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rei.

Rei swings wildly with an uppercut but Nkemakolam uses good head movement to avoid it.

Nkemakolam drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rei gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jobe Nkemakolam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rei lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Nkemakolam backwards.
Nkemakolam changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rei fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rei.
Rei misses with a hook. Nkemakolam ducked under it nicely.
Nkemakolam throws a low kick, looking for Rei's leg but Rei calmly moves out of range.

Rei scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nkemakolam is breathing heavily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nkemakolam crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rei - the referee stops the clock and Nkemakolam gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rei. Nkemakolam manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nkemakolam takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice shot lands for Rei.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rei comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Rei lands a big right hand that sends Nkemakolam crashing to the mat! Rei stays standing though and waves Nkemakolam back to his feet!

Nkemakolam takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Oh Nkemakolam is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rei lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Nkemakolam falls backwards - clearly groggy! Rei dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
