Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Beaudoin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Higher. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Beaudoin, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Beaudoin against the cage but Beaudoin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Beaudoin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jenkins shoots in but Beaudoin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Beaudoin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jenkins scores with a couple of nice shots.
Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Beaudoin is trying to stand up here but Jenkins is controlling him well.
Jenkins winds up and cracks Beaudoin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jenkins connects with a nice short shot to Beaudoin's temple.
Jenkins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Beaudoin's head.

Jenkins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Jenkins is nestled in close to Beaudoin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Beaudoin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jenkins scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jenkins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beaudoin is just riding it out for now. Jenkins eventually gives up the hold.

Beaudoin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jenkins is staying active underneath Beaudoin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Jenkins shoots in but no luck this time.

Jenkins tries to score a body lock takedown but Beaudoin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Jenkins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Beaudoin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Beaudoin is pressed up against the cage. Jenkins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beaudoin down to the mat. Beaudoin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Beaudoin counters with an inside leg kick.

Beaudoin tries to hold on but Jenkins postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beaudoin flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Beaudoin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Jenkins tries to pass to full mount but Beaudoin defends it.
Beaudoin has hold of Jenkins's hands but Jenkins slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jenkins lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jenkins is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenkins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Beaudoin pushes Jenkins off looking to stand but Jenkins dives back in and keeps control.
Jenkins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Beaudoin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jenkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jenkins lands in his opponent's guard.
Jenkins is in close to Beaudoin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Beaudoin is on top in guard.
Jenkins is looking for a triangle but Beaudoin pushes his legs off easily.
Beaudoin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jenkins shoots in for a double leg but Beaudoin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Beaudoin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jenkins!
Beaudoin is breathing heavily.

Jenkins bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
