Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes to the cage accompanied by Gangsta Nation- Ice Cube. Gracie has chosen Kung Fu Fighting as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Terrance Alves is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alves keeps working.
Alves is looking to reverse the position.

Alves is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gracie is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Alves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Alves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
